Started in 1985 in Berlin (their name comes from the address of their first office, Kaiserdamm 7), the label has since ballooned into a worldwide releasing and distribution operation famous for albums and DJ mixes from artists like Swayzak and Kruder & Dorfmeister. Their DJ-Kicks series, one of the label's longest-standing and most visible traditions, forms the backbone of the box set, with each mix loaded onto an included USB drive. Four color 10-inches are also included, featuring exclusive tracks from !K7-affiliated artists like Brandt Brauer Frick and Motor City Drum Ensemble. A limited-edition poster and slipmats round out the box. Only 500 sets will be made available, and they'll only be found on !K7's online store.
